Barnes & Noble To Move In Pikesville
The Barnes & Noble on Reisterstown Road in Pikesville will be moving, but not far, officials say.

PIKESVILLE, MD — A popular bookstore will be moving in Pikesville, but not far.
Barnes & Noble plans to move its store from one part of the Festival at Woodholme Shopping Center to another. It will be in the old Pier 1 location, according to a statement issued on behalf of the bookseller.
The move is expected to happen this fall and will result in an address change from 1819 Reisterstown Road to 1809 Reisterstown Road, Suite 103 — which is across the parking lot from its current location.

The store has been in its current spot for 19 years.
Along with the move, Barnes & Noble will update the look and layout of the store to be more in line with those that have opened more recently, featuring a warm environment that encourages browsing with a "locally tailored selection of books curated by their expert team of Pikesville booksellers," officials said in a statement.
