Boyfriend Charged In Milford Mill Murder: Baltimore County Police

A man who had recently gotten into a relationship is accused of killing his new girlfriend, Baltimore County police said.

Police said Shaheem Muse, 18, of Baltimore, was charged with murder in the death of 28-year-old Wayniqua Johnson, who was killed in the unit block of Stockmill Road Tuesday, Nov. 23.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A teen has been charged in the death of his girlfriend in Milford Mill Tuesday, police said.

Shaheem Muse, 18, of the Druid Heights area of Baltimore City, is charged with first-degree murder.

Detectives said he and the woman he killed Tuesday in the unit block of Stockmill Road had recently gotten into a relationship.

Wayniqua Johnson, 28, of the unit block of Stockmill Road, was shot in the area of her home, where officers were called about a shooting around 5:10 p.m. Johnson was pronounced deceased.

Soon after, Baltimore County patrol officers said they took Muse into custody. He is being held without bail, police reported Wednesday.

A bail review hearing for Muse is slated for 1 p.m. in Baltimore County District Court on Monday, Nov. 29.
