Community Blood Donation Day Coming to Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre This December

Owings Mills, MD — This holiday season, community members have an opportunity to make a life-saving impact close to home. On Tuesday, December 23, 2025, the Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre will host a Community Blood Donation Day in partnership with the American Red Cross, inviting residents to help meet the critical need for blood donations.

The event will take place from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the hotel’s ballroom, located at 10101 Grand Central Avenue. Organizers say the drive comes at an especially important time, as blood supplies often decline during the holidays while demand remains steady.

“A few minutes of your time can truly mean a lifetime for someone else,” organizers shared. “This is an easy, meaningful way for the Owings Mills and greater Baltimore County community to give back.”

Blood donations support patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatments, trauma care, and emergency medical procedures throughout the region. According to the American Red Cross, every donation can help save multiple lives.

The donation process is designed to be quick, safe, and impactful, with trained Red Cross professionals overseeing all aspects of the drive. As a thank-you, all donors will receive a free t-shirt for participating.
