Franklin High School Hosting 200th Anniversary Party
A reunion for all classes of Franklin High School is set for this weekend in Reisterstown.

REISTERSTOWN, MD — To celebrate the school's 200-year anniversary, the Alumni Association of Franklin High School is holding a celebration for all classes this weekend.
Franklin High School started out in 1820 as Franklin Academy, a private boys school. In 1875, Baltimore County renovated and expanded the school building, which was called Reisterstown High School until 1896, when ninth grade was added and it became known as Franklin High School, according to a history by the Baltimore County Public Library's Reisterstown Branch.
An all-class reunion will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 14.

School tours, food trucks and live music are part of the lineup for the 200th anniversary party. Yearbooks will be available for review and purchase. All alumni and guests are welcome to attend.
Classrooms will be decorated for classes to gather at Franklin High School, 12000 Reisterstown Rd., Reisterstown, MD 21136.
