6 Counties In MD Under Frost Advisory, Including Baltimore County
Six counties in Maryland are under a frost advisory, including Baltimore County.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory for northern Maryland, including parts of Baltimore County. Overnight temperatures near freezing come before highs in the 70s Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Temperatures will dip as low as 33 in areas under the advisory, leading to frost formation, according to the weather service, which says freezing temperatures are possible.
The frost advisory is in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. on Monday, April 11.

These areas are under the frost advisory:

- Baltimore County
- Carroll County
- Cecil County
- Frederick County
- Harford County
- Washington County
Officials said these areas specifically may experience frost: Hagerstown, Frederick, Ballenger Creek, Eldersburg, Westminster, Reisterstown, Cockeysville, Elkton, Jarrettsville and Aberdeen.

Because frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation, authorities advise covering it.

Here is the forecast for northern Baltimore County from the National Weather Service:
Sunday — Scattered sprinkles after 11 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 52 and low around 34 degrees. West wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
Monday — Areas of frost before 9 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 64 and low around 50 degrees. Light south wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Tuesday — Showers likely, mainly before 11 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 73 and low around 52. West wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Wednesday — A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 77 and low around 61. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61.
Thursday — Showers likely. Partly sunny, with a high near 76 and low around 48 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
Friday — Mostly sunny, with a high near 66 and low around 47.
