JWV Post 167 continues to support Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital

Year after year the support continues, the children are happy and our attendees have fun as we celebrate the Festival of Lights.

For many years the Jewish War Veteran Post 167 has been supporting Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital through their yearly Hanukkah Party. This year the Ladies Auxiliary is honored to be a part of the celebration. Members of Post 167 has been working hard to serve veterans and the community by giving, sharing and educating veterans about benefits that are available to them, where to go and help them understand the process. Meetings are held on the 3rd Sunday of each month 9:30 a.m. at the VFW in Owings Mills. We begin with Coffee, Bagels and Cream Cheese, Orange juice and maybe a cookie or so as everyone sits and schmooze. At 10 a.m. the meeting begins sometimes with a speaker followed by activities and happenings in the community. If you are a jewish veteran, please feel free to join in and share your experience. Wives are welcome to sit in and have fun while supporting their mates as they work together for a good cause.
