The Longest Day® puts your passion to work to fight Alzheimer's
Fundraiser allows participants to pick an activity of their choice

Among the countless ways toraise funds in the fight to end Alzheimer's, your idea can be one of them.Register here for The Longest Day Kickoff Party on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. ET. The virtual gathering provides tips on selecting, planning, and promoting whatever activity you choose.
Sports, musicconcerts, dance marathons, bake sales, and crafting are some of the many ways
supporters have turned their passions into profit. Individuals of all ages, families, friends and businesses can participate in the year-round event. Proving age is not a handicap, last year, siblings Grant and April Livne rallied fellow grade-school classmates for a kickball tournament. The tourney was held in honor of their grandmother, Ida Lipsky, who is living with Alzheimer's
disease, raising more than $10,000.
"While Longest Day activities are held throughout the year, we observe June 21,
the Summer Solstice, as the day to acknowledge participants' efforts. The motto is "The day with the most light is the day we fight." Nicole Gorski, program manager, supports participants throughout each stage of their activity or event, stating, "Many participants choose to do a favorite activity of the person they are honoring."
