Man Killed In Woodlawn Shootout And Officer IDed
The Maryland attorney general gave an update on the officer-involved death in Baltimore County that happened earlier in the week.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The Office of the Attorney General on Wednesday released the name of the man killed in a police-involved shooting earlier this week.
Jovan Lewis Singleton, 36, of Baltimore, was found deceased, officials said.
Police said Singleton's body was discovered following an armed robbery and shootout near the 6700 block of Windsor Mill Road early Monday morning.

The attorney general's office was called to investigate the death in accordance with a new state law that was passed this year.
Lt. Meade, a 25-year veteran of the Baltimore County Police Department who was assigned to the operations bureau, was identified as the officer who fired his weapon during the shootout.
