Owings Mills Elementary School Is Closing Early Friday

Breaking: Officials attributed the closure to a community issue involving utilities.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — Owings Mills Elementary School is closing early Friday, March 25. Officials with Baltimore County Public Schools made the announcement Friday morning.

Water supply issues are impacting the community, according to school officials.

As a result, Owings Mills Elementary School will close at noon on Friday. All after-school and evening activities at the elementary school at 10824 Reisterstown Road will be canceled.

This is the second day in a row that a school in the western part of Baltimore County has closed early because of a problem. On Thursday, Woodlawn High School dismissed students at 11 a.m. due to what school system officials said was a "facilities issue."
