Owings Mills High School Gets New Stadium
The new stadium includes a new track, scoreboard and press box.
The Owings Mills High School football team took on the Randallstown Rams in the Eagles' new stadium Saturday afternoon.
Although Owings Mills lost 24-14, the team finally got to play in its new stadium that has $1 million in upgrades.
The stadium now has bleachers that can seat 1,000 people along with a press box and a scoreboard, according to WBAL-AM. The $1 million project also includes a new track and sod for the field.

The community has wanted a new stadium for 20 years, according to WBAL, and fundraising finally began three years ago. Funding for the stadium came from the state, county and the school system, as well as $35,000 raised in private donations.
