Police: Man Killed in Fiery Crash in Owings Mills

The victim's identity has not yet been released. Police described him as a male in his 30s.

A man in his 30s driving a Chrysler crashed into a utility pole and a tree in Owings Mills before the car caught fire with the man inside, police said. He was declared dead at the scene.

When Baltimore County Police and Fire personnel arrived at Cronridge Drive, officers found the vehicle on fire and a deceased male inside.

The victim's identity has not yet been released. Police described him as a male in his 30s.

Officers said a Chrysler was traveling northbound when it crossed the center line, veered to the west side of the road and struck a utility pole and a tree before catching fire.

"The operator of the Chrysler was trapped in the vehicle and declared deceased at the scene," according to the report.

The incident is being investigated by the Baltimore County Police Department's crash team.
