Reisterstown Man Indicted On Child Sex Abuse Charges: Attorney General
A retired wrestling coach has been charged with child sex abuse in connection with a case from 2013 to 2014, according to prosecutors.
BALTIMORE, MD — A Reisterstown man was indicted on child sex abuse charges Tuesday, according to Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh.
Neil Adleberg, 73, who used to be a wrestling coach, faces charges including rape from 2013 and 2014, officials said.
Aldeberg was the head wrestling coach at Mount Saint Joseph High School in the 1970s and returned as an assistant coach for the 2014 to 2015 season, according to authorities, who said the victim was not a student at the Catholic boys school.

Prosecutors said the case stems from an investigation into child sex abuse connected to a school or place of worship.
“The victim in this case was a child that was abused and assaulted by Adleberg," Frosh said. "We will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law those who prey on vulnerable victims."

Aldeberg was charged with the following, officials reported: sex abuse of a minor, sexual solicitation of a minor, two counts of second-degree rape and attempted second-degree rape.
