Storyville In Woodlawn Temporarily Closed

WOODLAWN, MD — An attraction at the Woodlawn branch of the Baltimore County Public Library has closed unexpectedly Wednesday.

Storyville will be closed for the rest of the day Wednesday, Oct. 13, library officials reported Wednesday morning.

The cited "unanticipated maintenance needs" in announcing the closure.

Storyville is the library's popular "child-sized village" that promotes literacy for those up to 5 years old through themed learning areas such as the baby garden or grocery store; each section is equipped with books and activities.

The children's area and STREAM space remain open, library officials said.
