Due To Weather, Public Schools In Baltimore County Make Change Thursday
Because of the forecast, Baltimore County Public Schools updated the plan for Thursday.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County Public Schools will be closed Thursday, Jan. 20.
Classes are canceled, and so are school and community activities in school buildings. All childcare programs are also canceled Thursday.
School offices and central offices will open on a two-hour delay with the option to telework.

"Essential” employees should report on time for their assigned shift or may request to use leave time from the appropriate supervisor, while "essential as needed” employees will report to work as directed or may request to use leave time from the appropriate supervisor.
Officials said they made the decision to close schools after announcing a delay Wednesday night and reevaluating the weather Thursday morning.
