Five pedestrians were injured after a crash in downtown Baltimore, police said. Two cars collided, pushing one into a group of bystanders.

BALTIMORE — Five pedestrians were hit after two cars collided this weekend in downtown Baltimore, police said.
Officers said a Toyota Corolla sedan and a Volkswagen Taos SUV crashed Sunday around 7:34 p.m. in the 100 block of Market Place.
The wreck caused the Toyota to strike the pedestrians, authorities said.

The victims are all expected to survive.
The Baltimore Police Department said the vehicle remained on the scene, and both drivers were issued citations.
