Arrow Hits Person At Archery Range In Perry Hall: Firefighters

An arrow hit a person at a Perry Hall archery range, firefighters said. Medics airlifted the victim.

PERRY HALL, MD — An arrow hit a person recently at a Perry Hall archery range, firefighters said.

Officials said a medevac helicopter airlifted the victim to a hospital.

The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company said it was called Thursday around 4:28 p.m.

Firefighters said the victim suffered "a serious, penetrating injury" at the Maryland State Game & Fish Protective Association archery range. That's located at 8735 Honeygo Blvd.

Engine 201 helped prepare the landing site for the Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 3 medevac.

The helicopter landing site was the field behind Joppa View Elementary School.
