Baltimore County Under Flood Warning
A flood warning was issued for parts of Baltimore County on Tuesday.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Parts of Baltimore County are under a flood warning Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service issued the warning before 9:45 a.m. on the heels of heavy rainfall. It will remain in effect until 12:45 p.m.
Radar indicated 1 to 1.5 inches of rain had fallen in parts of Baltimore County, with 0.5 to 1 inch of additional accumulation possible during the flood warning period, forecasters said after 9:30 a.m.

During the flood warning period, officials advise drivers to turn around when they come upon flooded roads.

Flooding is occurring, the National Weather Service reported. In particular, officials said to watch for flooding around rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
