Driver Dead, Another Hospitalized After Dundalk Crash: Police

A driver died and another was hospitalized after a Baltimore County crash, police said. The deceased was 40 years old.

The Baltimore County Police Department said Nicholas Weber, 40, died after a Sunday crash in Dundalk. The other driver involved in the wreck was hospitalized but is expected to survive, officers said.

DUNDALK, MD — A driver died and another was hospitalized after a recent crash in Dundalk, police announced Thursday.

The collision happened Sunday around 9:45 p.m. in the 3700 block of North Point Road, officers said. That's located in a residential neighborhood.

Authorities said a 2024 Honda Accord sedan was heading east on North Point Road when it swerved over the solid double yellow line and hit a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

Police said medics took the Honda driver to a hospital, where he died.

Officers identified the deceased as Nicholas Weber, 40.

Authorities expect the Chevrolet driver, who was also hospitalized, to survive.

The Baltimore County Police Department is still investigating.
