BOWLEYS QUARTERS, MD — Firefighters extinguished a burning recreational vehicle this week in Baltimore County, preventing the flames from spreading to the house where it was parked.

"A firefighter from the Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Department placed himself and 150 gallons per minute of water between a fully involved recreational vehicle and 3,900 square feet of living space, while other firefighters verified everyone was out of the home," the BQVFD said on Facebook. "The only thing that prevented catastrophic loss to that residence was the fact that volunteer members were in the station at the moment of dispatch."
