Longtime Perry Hall Teacher, Coach Dies At 76
A man who spent decades at Perry Hall High School and reportedly started one of its sports teams has passed away.
PERRY HALL, MD — An educator who coached at Perry Hall High School for decades has reportedly passed away.
J. Patrick Sokoloski died Aug. 27 from glioblastoma, which is an aggressive cancer of the brain.
Sokoloski coached lacrosse and track at Perry Hall High School, where he also founded the first girls soccer team in 1984. He was known as an educator, coach and mentor for the Gators.

He moved to Millsboro after retiring and went on to work with some students in Delaware who had special needs, according to the Cape Gazette, which covers the Delaware cape region.
Sokoloski will be remembered with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, at St. Michael the Archangel, 10 Willow Ave, Baltimore, MD 21206.
