Man Killed In Baltimore County's 2nd Homicide Of Week: Police

A man was fatally shot in Dundalk, police said. It was Baltimore County's second homicide of the week.

DUNDALK, MD — A man was fatally shot this week in a Dundalk neighborhood, police said.

Officers have not yet released the name of the victim or announced any leads on a suspect.

Authorities said they were called Wednesday around 5:30 a.m. to the 1800 block of Portship Road. That's a residential street off Holabird Avenue.

Police said the victim, who was shot multiple times, was dead when officers arrived.

This was the county's second homicide of the week. A bartender was found dead in her Timonium home on Monday. There is no indication that the two homicides are related.

The Baltimore County Police Department asked anybody with information to call 410-887-INFO (410-887-4636). Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can also submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.

The Metro Crime Stoppers, an independent investigator, is also collecting anonymous tips and sharing them with officers. The Metro Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest on felony charges.
