Man Shot At Gunpowder Falls State Park: Police

Police said a man was injured in a shooting at Gunpowder Falls State Park in Baltimore County.

ROSSVILLE, MD — A man was shot at Gunpowder Falls State Park on Monday night, according to police.

Detectives learned of the shooting when he sought treatment in the 9000 block of Franklin Square Drive around 8:50 p.m., police said.

Investigators believe he was shot in the area of the park near Harford Road at Notchcliff Road, Detective Trae A. Corbin told Patch.

The victim was listed in stable condition, officials said Tuesday.

The Baltimore County Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.

There may be a reward of up to $2,000 for information about the shooting that leads to an arrest and charges.
