Masked Man Robs Belair Road Rite Aid

It is the second time the Rite Aid has been robbed since late 2011.

Baltimore County police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Perry Hall Rite Aid early Sunday evening.

An unidentified man wearing a ski mask, gloves and brown hooded-sweatshirt robbed the Rite Aid in the 9700 block of Belair Road at about 5:25 p.m., Ofc. Mark Dorsey said.

Sunday's incident marks the second time the Rite Aid has been robbed since 2011. Read:

Police said the thief entered into the convenience shop and demanded money from the clerk. No weapon was used in commission of the purported robbery, Dorsey said. 

The clerk obliged, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash.

Dorsey said the culprit fled in an unknown direction. Reports of the suspect fleeing the scene on a bike were unfounded, he added.
