A coastal flood watch is in effect for parts of the Maryland shoreline as weekend rains are expected to move across the state.

MARYLAND — Parts of coastal Maryland are at risk of flooding through Saturday after rain drenched the state earlier this week and more is on the way, forecasters said.
A coastal flood watch is in effect for the Anne Arundel County shoreline Saturday night through Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Rain is expected to move into the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., region before daybreak on Saturday and continue through the morning, forecasters said.
"At 3.5 feet, water reaches the floor of the Maritime Museum in Annapolis, begins to cover Bowyer Road on the Naval Academy campus, and numerous businesses on Dock Street are flooded, along with the City Dock parking lot," the NWS said Saturday.
