Perry Hall Athletics: Girls Lax Downed, Only Softball Remains Alive

Only softball remains in Perry Hall High School's spring post-season as of Tuesday.

Perry Hall girls' lacrosse was halted Monday by Dulaney after posting two high scoring 24-2 and 17-1 victories. The Gators were ousted from the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association 4A-3A bracket 14-9.

The Gators' only hope of spring silverware now comes down to softball with all other sports finished for the year. 

The girls entered the tournament with a first-round bye followed by a comfortable 13-0 win over Western Monday.

The No. 2 Gators advance to the regional semifinals where they will match up against an imposing Westminster High School on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Perry Hall.
