Perry Hall Under Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Breaking: Radar detected 60 mph wind gusts with storms around Perry Hall Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
PERRY HALL, MD — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Baltimore, Harford and Cecil counties Wednesday night.
The National Weather Service issued the warning after radar detected severe thunderstorms on a line from Delta, Pa., to Fallston that were moving east at 25 mph.
Officials said 60 mph wind gusts were present.

The warning is in effect until 10:30 p.m.
During the severe thunderstorm warning period, winds may cause trees and large branches to fall, injuring people outside as well as damaging homes and vehicles. Roads could become blocked by fallen trees, and power outages are possible. People should go inside to the lowest floor and an interior room to stay safe.

These areas are under the severe thunderstorm warning: Carney, Perry Hall, Kingsville, Fallston, Pleasant Hills, Rising Sun, Perryman, Riverside, North East, Charlestown, Blake, West Nottingham, Bay View, Lombard, Aberdeen, Havre de Grace, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Calvert, Bel Air South and Bel Air North.
A coastal flood advisory is also in effect from 3 to 10 a.m. Thursday.
