Perry Hall Woman Hit By Truck In Ocean City Dies: Report

A Perry Hall woman was hit by a truck in Ocean City. The pedestrian, 82, succumbed to her injuries, a report said.

OCEAN CITY, MD — A Perry Hall woman, 82, succumbed to injuries she suffered when she was hit by a truck while walking across an Ocean City roadway on Labor Day, a report said.

OC Today-Dispatch reported that two female pedestrians were crossing Baltimore Avenue on Sept. 1, around 8:32 p.m. when they were both hit by a truck turning from the 100 block of 5th Street onto northbound Baltimore Avenue.

One pedestrian, 68, suffered minor injuries, OC Today-Dispatch said. The newspaper added that the other pedestrian was flown to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where she died from her injuries by last Thursday.

The victim's name has not yet been released publicly.
