Sheetz Opening 1st Baltimore County Location This Week

MIDDLE RIVER, MD — Sheetz is opening its first Baltimore County location this Thursday.

Located in Middle River, the gas station and convenience store will also offer fast food made-to-order just off White Marsh Boulevard.

The store, located at 10499 Campbell Blvd., opens at 8 a.m. The grand opening festivities start at 9 a.m. outside the store. The ribbon-cutting is at 10:45 a.m.

Customers will enjoy free self-serve coffee and soda all of Thursday. There will also be multiple prizes awarded, including a $2,500 Sheetz gift card.

Sheetz will donate $2,500 to the Maryland Food Bank. Customers attending the grand opening are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the nonprofit. Donors will get a Sheetz-branded item while supplies last from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Sheetz will also donate $2,500 to Special Olympics Maryland. Sheetz has supported Special Olympics for over 30 years with product donations and event volunteers.

Sheetz said it ranked ninth in this year's "Companies that Care" list by Great Place to Work and PEOPLE Magazine and third in the latest Best Workplaces in Retail list by Fortune. The business was also named a Best Regional Fast Food Chain by USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice travel awards.
