Gunshot Fired Near Officer, 2 Minors Arrested In Nottingham Police Chase: Authorities
A gunshot was fired near an officer during a Nottingham chase, police said. Two minors were arrested after fleeing a stolen vehicle.

NOTTINGHAM, MD — Two juveniles were arrested after a police chase where a gunshot was fired near an officer Monday in the Nottingham-Fullerton area, authorities said.
Officers did not release the suspects' names because they are minors.
Authorities said they were alerted around 8:10 p.m. for a stolen vehicle that failed to stop for the Maryland State Police.

The Baltimore County Police Department said it found the vehicle soon after.
Officers said all of the occupants bailed out of the vehicle, starting a foot chase.

Authorities told Patch a suspect then fired "a gunshot ... in close proximity to the officer." No officers were hurt during the encounter.
Police announced a shelter-in-place around Belair Road, Fitch Avenue and Rossville Boulevard at 9:30 p.m.
Officers announced the end of the shelter-in-place at 11:05 p.m., saying the suspects were in custody.
