PERRY HALL, MD — Monday was supposed to be the day when everyone returned to work or school following the New Year's holiday, but Mother Nature had a different plan for Perry Hall residents.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for parts of Baltimore and Harford Counties, with the area expecting two to four inches of snow on the ground before it's all over.

As a result, the snowy weather canceled classes Monday at Baltimore County Public Schools.
