The Harp Planning Kegs, Eggs, Music and Dancing for St. Patrick's Day

The weekend-long celebration at Perry Hall's Irish pub features outdoor festivities, drink specials and charity.

First and foremost, always drink responsibly. Get a ride. Take a taxi. Leave the keys at home. Know your limit.

The Harp, Perry Hall's only true Irish pub is setting the standard for how to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Baltimore County.

Live music, drink specials, food deals, DJs, dancing and activities for the kids make The Harp the best place to get into the Irish spirit this weekend.

The weekend-long celebration begins Saturday at 1 p.m. with the opening of The Harp's outdoor party area. Locals, the Ernie Fowler Band, take the stage from 3 to 7 p.m.

DJ JC will keep the party going with dance music from 7 to 10 p.m. The party then moves inside for The Harp's Dance Party from 10 to close.

—And that's just Saturday.—

On Sunday, The Harp opens at 9 a.m. with a special $3.17 kegs and eggs breakfast. Also, $2 gets you Guinness Imperial pints, Bloody Mary's and/or Mimosas.

The tent will open again at 1 p.m., featuring The Rolex Band, who I'm told as actually performed for Vice President Joe Biden. The band goes on at 3 p.m.

Throughout the day The Harp will feature DJs, give-a-ways a fire truck and face painting and hair coloring for the kids.

Drink Specials:

  • $3 Harps, Killians Red, Yuengling, Guinness Black Lager and Jameson shots.
  • $4 Bud and Bud Light 16 ounce bottles, and Pickle Back shots. (Sounds gross. Are delicious. See photo)
  • $5 Guinness Imperial Pints, Car Bombs and Jameson Orange Crushes.

And don't forget to eat if you plan on drinking. The Harp will be offering a special St. Patrick's Day menu featuring reubans, corned beef & cabbage, shepherds pie, fish and chips, Irish bangers, apps, soup and more.

Have fun this weekend. Be safe. Don't forget to add your photos and videos to our Perry Hall Neighborhoods Gallery (Keep 'em clean). Also, write a review of The Harp.
