• State approves expansion of Cecil County Enterprise zones (cecildaily.com) — Cecil County’s Enterprise Zone, which stretches from Elkton through Perryville and Port Deposit along the Route 40/I-95 corridor, just grew by 80 acres in the Elkton area. That expansion means more targeted areas where developers can receive tax breaks and financial assistance, potentially bringing new jobs and business opportunities within commuting distance for Perryville residents.
