PERRYVILLE, MD — Perryville Middle School will dismiss early on Monday due to a gas leak in the area.

A gas leak was reported at the intersection of US 40/Pulaski Highway and Aiken Avenue, according to authorities.

The gas leak closed the Hatem Bridge to traffic.

"Due to the remaining gas odor that is in the building from a gas leak at the intersection at Rt. 40," Cecil County Public Schools announced that Perryville Middle School would dismiss students at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15.
