Mary Catherine Douglas, 91, Former St. Bernard's Parishioner

Mrs. Douglas was a Retired Personnel Manager for 18 years with U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). She was a former member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Riverdale, MD. She was known as a homebody and enjoyed being with her family.

She was daughter of the late Frank O’Brien and the late Edith Bacgulupi O’Brien.

She was predeceased by her parents; her late husband of 21 years, Walter John Douglas; and one late grand daughter, Linda Hannah.

She is survived by one son, John W. (Bonnie) Douglas of Swan Point, MD; one daughter, Gail P. Douglas of Gambrills, MD; and one sister, Eleanor Isaac of Fairfield, PA. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A visitation and Wake Service were held on Thursday, Jan. 5 at Raymond Funeral Chapel, in La Plata, MD. The clergy was Father Robert Kosty.

A graveside service and interment were held Friday, Jan. 6 at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery in Bladensburg.
