At the 139th commencement ceremonies at Frostburg State University in December, the following local area residents were among the nearly 430 total candidates for degrees. Chidinma Dureke of Riverdale earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art &amp; Design. Ali Konteh of Hyattsville earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Law &amp; Society. Situated in the mountains of Allegany County, FSU is one of 12 institutions and two regional centers in the University System of Maryland.
