This get together will be a social event to celebrate the 22 kW solar energy system that is now providing power to the church and placing excess energy into the grid.
There will be food provided in "pot-luck" manner by UPCS members. If anyone has a favorite dish they would like to bring, they are welcome to do so. But UPCS expects most guests who are not members of UPCS who attend will be arriving without food and hopefully will partake in the food that is provided.
At about 5:30 pm, we will have the "world premier" of a video documentary of the project. The video was put together by Daniel Silversmith, Jeff Stehr, and myself based on photographic and video input from many folks. Indeed, a fair number of people receiving this email appear in the video. Following the event, we will place the video on YouTube.
