Free Concert Jennifer Rose & The Mixx

 "Seussical the Musical"

·      Where:   Laurel Mill Playhouse, 508 Main Street, Laurel

·      When:  Friday, Aug. 9, 8 p.m.

·      Description:  The Laurel MillPlayhouse presents their 2013 Summer Youth Production of SEUSSICAL.  Seussical is an entertaining and lively adventure for all ages, with talented youth actors from and around the Laurel community.

Back by Popular Demand - Homemade Dinners $10

Airmail Day Festival

·      Where:   College Park Aviation Museum

·      When:  Saturday, Aug. 10, 1 p.m.

·      Description:  Celebrate the 95th anniversary of the first airmail flight out of College Park Airport with airmail themed activities throughout the museum.

·      Cost: $4

Blues Fiddle Band "The Roustabouts" Rock Summer Jam

·      Where:  Hyattsville Municipal Building 4310 Gallatin Street

·      When:  Friday, Aug. 9, 6:30 p.m.

·      Description:  Lively selection of contemporary blues, R&B, funk and rock.

·      Cost: Free

Sunday Sunset Concert

·      Where:  Allen Pond Park, 3330 Northview Drive, Bowie

·      When:  Sunday, Aug.  11, 7 p.m.

·      Description:  The City of Bowie's Sunday Sunset Concert Series

 "The Drowsy Chaperone"

·      Where:  Saint John's College Key Auditorium, Annapolis

·      When:  Friday, Aug. 9, 7:30 p.m.

·      Description:  The Talent Machine Company presents: “The Drowsy Chaperone”.
