Residents curious about the Purple Line will have a chance to give input about the proposed light rail line on Tuesday night, when the M-NCPPC hopes to gain more feedback about the Beacon Heights station. The county's planners will give an overview of what the station would look like followed by detailed discussions of station issues such as community access and the surrounding area. They are looking for input from residents and business owners for the Transit-Oriented Development study. The proposed Purple Line is a double-track light rail with 21 stations stretching across 16.3 miles between Bethesda and New Carrollton. When: Tuesday, Nov. 15,  6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Where: , 6929 Furman Parkway, Riverdale, MD 20737.
