Riverdale Park Council Holds Off on Key Cafritz Vote
The body is now set to finalize its recommendations on Dec. 5.

The Riverdale Park town council pushed back a vote Monday on to the Prince George’s County Planning Board about the proposed .
Speaking at Monday's worksession, Mayor Vernon Archer said there was "universal consensus on the council that we're not ready to act on it."
The body will instead take up consideration of its draft letter during the Dec. 5 legislative session, Archer said.

The delay puts the town short of for inclusion in the official Park and Planning report to the PGCPB. The planning board the proposed zoning changes on Dec. 15.
The council concluded Monday's meeting by going into closed session to discuss ongoing covenant and side agreement talks.

"Negotiations [with the developer] are going forward but have not reached a satisfactory conclusion at this point," Archer said.
