Riverdale Park Man Considered for Boynton Beach City Manager

Oscar S. Rodriguez, a municipal consultant and Riverdale Park resident, is one of 17 candidates in the running to become the next city manager of Boynton Beach, Fla., according to the Palm Beach Post.

Rodriguez is joined on the list by numerous current and former municipal managers from across the country, the Post reports, as well as the city's interim manager.

The list of applicants — selected from an initial pool of 40 — will likely be culled to about 10 before it is submitted to the City Commission, according to the Post.

Boynton Beach is a community of about 66,000 located in Florida's Palm Beach County.
