3 People In Custody After Possible Kidnapping In Rockville

ROCKVILLE, MD — Three people are in police custody after a possible kidnapping in Rockville Wednesday morning, according to reports.

Police were called for a report of an assault in the 5400 block of Randolph Rd. at about 9:30 a.m., NBC Washington says.

A witness then called police again to inform them of what they thought was a person being forced into an SUV about a mile away, police said.

Officers stopped the SUV at about 9:45 a.m. in the 1500 block of Bradley Ave.

A woman and two men were detained and are being questioned by police.
