3rd MoCo Location Of Grocery Chain Opens For Shoppers

ROCKVILLE, MD — Shoppers can now check out Montgomery County's newest Wegmans grocery store, which opened Wednesday at 1590 Rockville Pike in Rockville's Twinbrook Quarter Community.

The Rockville Wegmans is an 80,000-square-foot store and the company has hired 400 part- and full-time positions, most of them local workers. The store manager is Jamie Dominick.

According to the company website, the Rockville site is Wegmans' ninth store in Maryland, and the third in Montgomery County, following Germantown and Rockville.

The Rockville location includes two levels of parking below the store; Wegmans shoppers will get 90 minutes of free parking.

Store hours are 6 a.m. to midnight daily.

The store features the traditional departments Wegmans customers expect, including restaurant foods (sushi, pizza, chef-made salads, and sandwiches), a produce department with hundreds of types of fruits and vegetables, and a variety of seafood, meat, bakery, deli, and cheese options. There is a drive through curbside loading lanes for all online grocery and Meals-To-Go order pickups.
