75th Montgomery County Fair Delays Opening Because Of Storm
The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair, which was supposed to kick off its run Friday, Aug. 9, has delayed its opening because of weather.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair, which was supposed to kick off its run Friday, Aug. 9, has delayed its opening because of the severe weather hitting the region as the remnants of Hurricane Debby move through.
The fair is slated to run through Aug. 17 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 16 Chestnut St. Gaithersburg.
A notice on the fair website Friday said: "The Montgomery County Fair is CLOSED today, Friday August 9th. Our plan is to open tomorrow at 10am on Saturday, August 10th."
