An Armed Robbery, a Carjacking, an Assault and Burglaries in County Police Reports

Arrests and incidents for Oct. 23-31, according to county police.

 

The following is compiled from Montgomery County Police Department crime summaries. Arrests do not imply guilt.

12300 block of Braxfield Court, North Bethesda: An armed robbery occurred at 11:35 p.m. on Oct. 28. The suspects assaulted the victims with a weapon and obtained property.

Unit block of Alsace Lane: A residential shed burglary occurred between 5 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 25. The shed was unlocked. Property was taken.

1900 block of Rockland Avenue: An attempted theft from a vehicle occurred at 7:02 p.m. on Oct. 26. A 19-year-old Rockville man was arrested.

Monroe and E. Jefferson streets: A strong-arm robbery occurred at 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 27. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Suspect description: A male, 16 to 19 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches, 150 to 160 pounds. Last seen wearing a green puffy coat and blue jeans.

120 Hungerford Drive: A commercial burglary occurred between 2 p.m. on Oct. 26 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 27. The building is under construction. Building materials were taken.

800 block of First Street: A weapons offense occurred at Maryvale Park at 4:01 p.m. on Oct. 24. The suspect was found to be illegally in possession of a weapon. A 29-year-old Rockville man was arrested.

7400 block of Needwood Road, Derwood: A residential burglary of a vacant residence occurred between 3 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 24. Forced entry. Property taken.

600 block of Elmcroft Boulevard: A residential garage burglary occurred between Oct. 27 and Oct. 29. Forced entry. Property taken.

10300 block of Cavanaugh Court: A vehicle theft occurred between 10 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 6:45 a.m. on Oct. 25.

7000 block of Old Stage Road: An aggravated assault occurred at 4:45 p.m. on Oct. 23. During a dispute, the known suspect threatened the victim with a weapon.

11200 block of Rockville Pike: A carjacking/armed robbery occurred about 2:10 p.m. on Oct. 31. The suspect threatened the victims with a weapon, obtained property and left in the victim’s vehicle.

Suspect description: A male, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches, 170 to 190 pounds, with short black hair. Last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.

11130 Rockville Pike: An attempted commercial burglary occurred at Dryclean Expo about 2 a.m. on Oct. 24. Attempted forced entry. Nothing taken.
