Crashes Reported On I-270, I-50 South, MD-295: Traffic In MD, DC

On The Road

As of 7:22 a.m., a two-vehicle collision was reported on US-50 West prior to MD-404, according to MDOT. [Wye Mills, MD]

As of 7:19 a.m., debris was reported in the roadway in the westbound-right shoulder on MD-189 West at I-270, according to MDOT. [Rockville, MD]

As of 7:15 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported in the roadway on MD-404 East prior to MD-480, according to MDOT. [Queen Anne, MD]

As of 7:14 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported in the roadway of I-95 North at the exit for US-1/Caton Avenue, according to MDOT. [Catonsville, MD]

As of 7:04 a.m., the southbound-left shoulder and left traffic lane on MD-355 South from Grosvenor Lane to Alta Vista Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Bethesda, MD]

As of 7:03 a.m., the southbound-left shoulder and left traffic lane on I-795 South prior to the exit for the Baltimore Beltway/I-695 are closed due to a collision, according to MDOT. [Garrison, MD]

As of 7:02 a.m., the right side of southbound I-270 is blocked near MD-80/Urbana due to a crash, according to WTOP Traffic. [Urbana, MD]

As of 6:59 a.m., the southbound-right shoulder and right traffic lane of MD-295 South past MD-175 are closed due to a two-vehicle collision, according to MDOT. [Jessup, MD]

As of 6:47 a.m., a crash is impacting traffic in both directions on North Capitol Street near Harewood Road/Fort Drive, according to WTOP Traffic. [Washington, DC]

As of 5:35 a.m., a collision was reported on I-395 South at the ramp for eastbound I-95, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

As of 5:03 a.m., roadwork was reported on MD-3 North at 5th Avenue, Southeast, according to MDOT. [Glen Burnie, MD]

Aso 3:41 p.m., on Wednesday, the southbound-right traffic lane on MD-45 South past Galloway Avenue is closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Cockeysville, MD]

As of 12:19 p.m., on Wednesday, the westbound-left traffic lane, the eastbound-traffic lane, and the left turn lane of MD-103 at New Cut Road are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Worthington Park, MD]

Ongoing Closures:

Two northbound-right traffic lanes and shoulder are closed on MD-173 between Cabot Drive and Marley Neck Boulevard due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Fort Armistead, MD]

Both shoulders of southbound I-395 from Conway Street to the Fort McHenry Tunnel are closed due to roadwork, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

One northbound-traffic lane and shoulder of MD-233 North between Rosaryville Road and Sherwood Drive are closed, according to MDOT. [Rosaryville, MD]

Westbound-right off-ramp from MD-725 West at John Rogers Boulevard is closed due to roadwork, according to MDOT. [Upper Marlboro, MD]

The northbound-left shoulder of I-95 North is closed from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road, according to MDOT. [Adelphi, MD]

Eastbound shoulder, traffic lane and center turn lane of MD-648 East between Kuethe Road and Governor Ritchie Highway are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Glen Burnie, MD]

Mass Transit

Due to bus operator availability, some Metrobus trips on Route 29N may experience delays on Thursday, according to Metro. For bus arrival times, visit buseta.wmata.com.

DC Weather

Expect Thursday in the Baltimore-Washington region to be breezy with showers likely and a high temperature of 81 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

A couple of thunderstorms are expected to pass through the region on Thursday, with a high of 77 and a low of 49, according to the AccuWeather forecast.

There's an 84 percent chance of rain. The temperature in Rockville around 7:40 a.m. was 69 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.
