Election 2023: Ballots For Rockville City Council, Mayor Due Tuesday
Tuesday is the final day for Rockville City voters to return their ballots in the 2023 election.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Tuesday is the final day registered voters in Rockville City will be able to cast a ballot in the 2023 election. Ballots were mailed on Friday, Oct. 13, to all registered voters in Rockville.
Completed ballots must be received by 8 p.m., either by mail or by dropping them off at City Hall (in the upper parking lot off Vinson Street) and at Montrose Community Center, or during hours of operation at four indoor drop boxes at the Senior Center, Lincoln Park Community Center, Twinbrook Community Center, and Thomas Farm Community Center.
Rockville City voters will be casting ballots for a new mayor and six city council members. They'll also be voting on an advisory referendum to allow 16 and 17-year-olds and non-citizens to vote in city elections; enact three-year term limits for the Rockville mayor and city council; and establish representative districts from which council members would be elected.

Mayor Bridget Donnell Newton is not seeking another term, so the city will have a new leader after Tuesday.
Twelve candidates are running for the six council seats.
