Evergreen School Acquires Redwood Montessori School In Rockville
Evergreen School of Silver Spring is expanding to Rockville, after acquiring the Redwood Montessori School from Dianna Souder-Bond.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Evergreen School is expanding to a second location in Montgomery County, after purchasing the Redwood Montessori School from Dianna Souder-Bond, according to a release.
Evergreen, which already runs a Montessori school at 10700 Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring, will operate its new school in the Living Faith Lutheran Church academic wing at 1605 Veirs Mill Road in Rockville.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand our reach to Rockville and provide even more families with the exceptional education that Evergreen School is known for," said John DeMarchi, Head of School, in a release. "This acquisition will enable us to achieve our long-term strategic objectives and continue to build a strong legacy for years to come."

DeMarchi went on to credit the guidance and support of the Evergreen School Board of Trustees, especially Board Chair Deepa Sundararaman, for making the acquisition happen.
Evergreen is fully accredited by the American Montessori Society and the Association of Independent Maryland Schools, and a member of the Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington. It serves children ages 2-9 and follows the Montessori curriculum, which is designed to meet each child's unique needs, according to the release.
