Find Halloween Fun With FrightQuest

There are just two more weekends before Halloween.

If you're looking for some frightfully good times, which featured where to pick a pumpkin for the perfect jack-o'-lantern, take a hayride or get scared in a haunted forest.

If you're looking to go a bit farther afield, MapQuest has launched FrightQuest, a site that maps Halloween attractions. The options range from family-friendly to downright frightening.

Scream City in Olney and Bennett's Curse at Blobs Park in Jessup make the map of Maryland attractions.

If your search for scares takes you to D.C., check out haunted houses or Boo at the Zoo. Virginia features the Haunts of Richmond ghost tours, in a favorite Halloween city of Dave Brockie, a.k.a. Oderus Urungus, frontman of heavy metal band GWAR, who grew up in Northern Virginia.
