Free Meals Program For County Kids, Students Begins July 6

Starting July 6, Montgomery County Public Schools will provide breakfast and lunch to children, regardless of age, four days a week.

ROCKVILLE, MD — All Montgomery County children and public school students will soon be able to pick up free meals at more than 90 locations across the county.

Starting July 6, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) will provide breakfast and lunch to children, regardless of age, every weekday except Thursdays.

Meals will be provided at MCPS distribution sites from 10 a.m. to noon, and at bus distribution sites from 9 to 10 a.m.

No identification is required for students and their families to pick up meals, according to school officials.
