1st U.S. Medalist In 49 Years At World Championships Hails From HoCo
One of the world's top athletes in trampoline gymnastics hails from Howard County and she recently became the first American medalist at the world trampoline championships in 49 years. Jessica Stevens, a senior at the University of Maryland, recently won two gold medals at the Pan-American Games in Chile.
Harford Officials Pay $305K Toward 1st Responders' Student Loan Debt
Sixty-one volunteer first responders serving Harford County have had their student loan debt knocked down a level thanks to the Next Gen Responder Student Loan Relief Program.
